Gifted Homeschoolers Forum is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization that works to educate and advocate for gifted homeschooling families. Our work includes a well-regarded website with resources and articles from parents and experts, an online community for support and advice, sponsorship of events with nationally known speakers, and a schedule of conferences, lectures and other opportunities. Your tax deductible contribution also enables GHF staff to attend conferences and give presentations and workshops in order to reach out to gifted families and professionals who work with them as well as to collect cutting edge information to bring back to you.
Our annual budget is small, and we do our best to keep it that way. Your membership fees and contributions are used to cover our costs, which otherwise come out of the pockets of our volunteers.
- a membership card that can often be used as "proof of homeschooling" for educator's discounts of up to 25% at a variety of businesses.
- $2.00 off on each book written by prolific homeschooling author and speaker David Albert, when ordered directly from his Skylark Sings website.
- $1.00 off on each copy of Wes Beach's Opportunities After High School: Thoughts, Documents, Resources
- Discounts on subscriptions to 2e Newsletter and the new! Spotlight on 2e Series. (Read more about this series here.)
- Discounts with a growing number of recommended professionals.
- Discounts on some GHF-sponsored events and speakers (subscribe to our email list or visit our Events page for more information).
- State and federal tax deductions for the full amount of your membership and/or donation.
- And finally, you will receive the great good feeling of supporting educational options for the gifted community
"GHF is a valuable resource that reflects relevant issues confronting gifted families and offers precious support and understanding to its members." -- Anne
